From a committee of friends to a committee that decides with data
The management committee worked like a chat among trusted people: lots of talk, few decisions, and the numbers were never on the table.
Jordi, as an adviser to the company:
- Analysed the P&L and cash flow, and showed the owners the real risk of bankruptcy.
- Turned the committee into a body that decides using data and KPIs.
- Set up an action plan with an owner, a date and follow-up.
- Supported the owners in preparing the sale.
Result. The owners made the decision on the basis of data and in time, and sold the company before the problem became irreversible.
